Kantfish. Italian visual artist and multidisciplinary author who expresses and shares his vision of reality primarily through images, videos, films, writing and live events.

Kantfish is interested in reality and its sublimation More Than Real.
His artworks have been selected for prestigious photographic awards such as the Obra Abierta International Visual Arts Prize by Caja Extremadura (2012), as well as for innovative events like the NFT digital art exhibition at the Guinovart space in Barcelona (2022).
His audiovisual works were exhibited at the National Gallery of Modern Art in Bangalore, India.
His artistic and documentary works, or both, have been exhibited in prominent venues such as El Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid (2013), where he also premiered his documentary film El Dulce Sabor del Éxito ( 2023), or the Madrid Design OFF Festival (2019). His work has been represented by agencies such as Contacto, Associated Press, Notimex, and by galleries including 4/d Arty and Galería Cero in Madrid, Tricera in Japan, Saatchiart in the USA, and in Spain by Flecha, Vi-art or LEG UP.
The film El Dulce Sabor del Éxito received the Award of Merit “for its artistic value and social impact” at the Impact DOCS Awards in the USA.
It is the first Spanish documentary to premiere in the Decentraland Metaverse, shown in a cinema built ad hoc by the Decentraland Foundation in the center of the city.
The film is currently available as an NFT for collectors on the Rarible platform.
He has collaborated on and created installations for collective art projects such as Paraisurural in Asturias (Vallinaoscura, Villaviciosa), where art meets the rural world and nature.
His artworks are part of private collections in Spain, Italy, Australia, Japan, Belgium.
His images, texts and audiovisual works have been published in the main media in Italy, Spain, UK and USA, including L’Espresso, XL Semanal, El País Semanal, Rolling Stone, Il Messaggero, Foreign Policy, Guardian and Exame, among others.
He is a published author with the renowned Italian publisher Feltrinelli, where he released his research La Vuelta a Europa con 30, finalist of the Cesare de Lollis Literary Award. He is also the author of the book Crypto Jungle – The Surprising Journey To Understand The Revolution, exploring the social and humanistic phenomenon behind the new crypto world of blockchain, web3 and metaverses, cited by Nature magazine, and other international media.
He has been a journalist member of the Official National Association of Italian Journalists for over twenty years. He holds a Law Degree from the Università degli Studi di Perugia (Italy) and a Master in Photography and Image Technique and Digital Professional from Efti in Madrid (Spain).

FILMS AND AUDIOVISUAL WORKS
Director, screenwriter and producer. As a director, he wrote, directed and produced the documentary El Dulce Sabor del Éxito ( 2022), a reflection on the concept of “Success” in the 21st century. The film features protagonist Maria Teresa Paniagua, actress Rossy De Palma, philosopher Fernando Savater, tenor Plácido Domingo, photographer Alberto García-Alix, philosopher Javier Sádaba, youtuber JPelirrojo, actor Leo Bassi, artist Pilar Albarracín, psychologists Martin Seligman and Nancy Etcoff, monk Matthieu Ricard and speaker Victor Küppers, among others.The film was selected in festivals in the United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy and Greece, and received several awards. It was granted the Award of Merit “for its artistic value and social impact” at the Impact DOCS Awards festival in the USA. It also received the support of the Community of Madrid, in support of culture and promotion of feature films. Institutional support from the Teatro de la Zarzuela. Collaboration with the TED Talks platform.
The documentary is available in the Spanish platform Filmin, the US platform Eventive, the cultural platform Pragda in the US and Filmfriends across Europe.
It premiered in some of Madrid’s most iconic cultural venues such as the Círculo de Bellas Artes or the Cineteca del Matadero. It is also the first Spanish documentary to premiere in the Metaverse of Decentraland, in a cinema created ad hoc by the Decentraland Foundation. The film is available on the Rarible platform as an NFT — a unique collector’s edition.
Kantfish has directed and produced two short films. ALMAmATER (2014), which received the Audience award at the German festival #Voff. Finalist in 10 festivals in 3 continents.
He also directed and produced the short film Nobody Like Athens (2013), about the crisis in Greece, starring actress Alexandra Aidinis (lead in the films of Theodoros Angelopoulos). The film was selected by Luca Zingaretti (Inspector Montalbano) at the HVM festival in Cortona-Rome. Documentary reporters Emanuele Giusto and Gianni Perrelli. Finalist in 7 festivals across 3 continents.
