SIGNALS emerged from the conceptual territory developed through Kantfish’s Perspective of a New Order and Eclipse of a New Order, extending their investigation of perception, systems and changing realities into the social feed itself.

SIGNALS responds to a culture increasingly shaped by systems competing for attention and defining what appears to us as reality. At a moment when images, algorithms and narratives continuously mediate what we see and believe, paying attention to how reality is constructed becomes increasingly necessary. SIGNALS introduces small disruptions into that flow, reopening space for perception, doubt and critical thought.

The series develops through mixed techniques, combining video, photography, sound, text, digital intervention and AI when relevant. The technique changes with each SIGNAL; the underlying question remains how perception can be altered from within the systems that shape it.
