Collection More Than Nature III
Reality is a set of elements related in a complex way. Accounting for “everything” is a naive claim. It is impossible to completely determine the vast spectrum that it’s composed of. The only thing we can do is observe it from one and only point of view. Heisenberg’s theory of uncertainty tells us one important thing: it is not possible to calculate the speed and position of one particle at one same time. The only thing we can do is using all mental, cultural and sensorial tools to define a story that is loyal to our perception of reality. The reality I want to show is “more than real”.

Collection More Than Nature III
This collection honours a unique place that no longer exists, not in the way we used to. Castelluccio di Norcia is a small town in the Umbria region, in the heart of Italy, surrounded by a vast plain full of flowers between May and July, expanding the impression of a poetic and inspiring place. When I immersed myself in it in July, it had an elevation of 1.452 meters. This has been reduced to 1.382 meters since October 30th 2016. A terrible earthquake demolished the houses and lowered down by 70cm the small hill where this center of 150 souls was born in the Middle Ages.
