Jellyfish Composition is part of the series “Otra Dimensión en la Isla de Homero”.
The sea is like a canvas.
The atmosphere appeared prehistoric. At 28 meters deep, floating in the amniotic fluid of the earth, the scene appeared metallic, full of bright reflections, of black clouds that change their shape. Surrounded by thousands of fish, a copious unexpected fauna in the Mediterranean. Ustica is the first marine nature reserve in Italy, since 1986. The sea of Sicily is where I was born. The same day of coming into light I was in my mother’s womb immersed in the sea.
Sicily is an intense land, an island full of volcanic fire in the center of the Mediterranean Sea. In this sea, the Tyrrhenian, they have lived and still live the myths of Homer. There lived the sirens of Ulysses. It is a path to another dimension. It is the place of the silver eyes, of the thousands of black stars. It is floating, flying. It is silence, paused by your very breathing, almost a meditation mantra. I see shapes and movements, in static suggestions, in reflections. I am in the belly of the earth. I am immersed in the roots, in history, in the ancestors. I’m surrounded by life. And this is what counts most in this parallel universe.
The Ocean is a luxurious metric of the life tempo. It is like a natural heartbeat. In. Out. The sea foam leaves the breath of the Ocean on the golden sand. It brings me to the best moment, the present. I am immersed in the Ocean. I feel like deep inside myself. The old wisdom of the sea is a sound. It is an intimate protection. The power of this breath makes me strong. I found myself at in this moment. It is luxurious . It is delicate. It is endless.
In this series the underwater landscape represents the exhibition space. The compositions create a balance of forms, reflections, an invisible world, which becomes colors, movements, perspectives.

MATERIALS
The artworks are printed on high-quality cotton paper, Hahnemühle or Canson, selected for their tonal depth, stability, and lightfastness. Each piece is mounted on aluminum Dibond with a wooden frame, ensuring rigidity, durability, and a clean presence on the wall.
Another format particularly favored by Kantfish is direct-to-aluminum printing. With a vivid, glossy finish and exceptional resilience, it is suitable for both interior and exterior settings, where the image achieves an almost tangible intensity.
In some cases, artworks are delivered without any mounting. The collector receives the piece on its original paper, exactly as conceived, leaving the final choice of presentation or framing entirely open.
TECHNIQUES
Kantfish’s process often begins in the real. In direct observation and in photography, understood not as a register, but as a point of departure.
From there the image undergoes transformation through manual digital painting processes, where gesture, intervention, and decision-making remain central. The artwork is constructed layer by layer, in a constant dialogue between control and drift.
Within this process new digital tools are also integrated, including artificial intelligence systems, used as instruments for visual and conceptual exploration. Not as automation, but as an extension of language and creative risk.
The result does not adhere to a fixed technique, but to an open methodology in which the real, the manual, and the digital coexist without evident hierarchies.
Each piece is delivered signed by Kantfish, who personally oversees every stage of the production process, caring for every detail. The collector receives a Certificate of Authenticity with a matching hologram on both the artwork and the physical document, along with an additional registration on the Ethereum blockchain, whose reference is provided to the collector.
Blockchain-based certification guarantees the immutability, traceability, and independent verifiability of the certificate of authenticity, enhancing protection against forgery and reinforcing confidence in the artwork.
A personal letter from Kantfish is also included.
Along with the artwork, all necessary care instructions and specifications are provided.

Kantfish (Emanuele Giusto) is a Mixed Media Artist whose practice articulates photography, traditional media and digital technologies, including automatic learning (AI). His research operates between the visual and the conceptual, approaching reality not as representation, but as a philosophical problem transferred to the perceptual field. In this framework, the exploration of the complexity of the real becomes a way of expanding individual consciousness and reconfiguring the collective imaginary.
Kantfish as a multidisciplinary author was born in Italy, under the ancestral colors of Etna. He develops his international practice based in Portugal and Spain, exploring the tension between reality, its symbolic layers and its representation through the concept that vertebrates his work: “More Than Real”.
Kantfish develops a modus operandi that starts from photography, applying a precise, almost surgical eye to natural, urban, and human landscapes, transforming them into abstract spaces that are revealed through the eye of the soul.
His personal and professional journey, with stages in Italy, Madrid, Mallorca, Luanda, Santiago in Cape Verde, and Miami, has shaped a perspective that operates at the intersection of documentary, fiction, and cultural analysis.
He has been recognized in international awards and biennials and is represented in galleries in Spain, Japan and the United States.
He shapes his visual perspective through photography, digital tools, cinema, writing, emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, and live interventions, crafting a hybrid language that intertwines critical thinking, journalistic research, and contemporary art practices.
For over two decades, he has published in media such as XL Semanal, El País Semanal, Rolling Stone, The Guardian, Foreign Policy, L’Espresso, and Il Messaggero.
This experience shapes his critical approach to the image and the way he unfolds visual narratives.
He has written scripts for programs broadcast on television networks such as Dmax.tv (Discovery Inc. Media), Warner Bros. Discovery, and audiovisual projects for organizations like the United Nations’ FAO, including the World Water Day campaign, where he integrates aesthetics, communication, and social research.
His film El Dulce Sabor del Éxito ( 2023), winner of the Artistic Merit Award at the Impact Docs Awards, was the first Spanish documentary to premiere in a metaverse cinema in collaboration with the Decentraland Foundation. He is also the author of Il giro d’Europa con 30€ ( Feltrinelli) and CryptoJungla, cited by Nature magazine.
