In Perspective of a New Order I Kantfish proposes a critical reading of the urban landscape as a reflection of a fragmented collective consciousness. The photographic documentary artwork unfolds a visual universe of movement, color and tension, where the saturation of stimuli reproduces the informative vertigo of our times. In this scenario, the city becomes a metaphor for chaos. A structure in constant mutation where the clear message is “don’t stop”. The attractive, full of colors, reveals the chaotic to the attentive eye. It becomes clearer the confusion that reveals the fragility of an increasingly precarious balance.

The perspective of a new order does not emerge from harmony, but from collapse. Between the attraction of light and the oppression of noise, Kantfish captures the instant in which perception dissolves, where the real is distorted and the mind -overexposed to the continuous flow of data- loses its center. This confusing interpretation of reality, typical of contemporary hyperconnectivity, generates profound psychological effects: disorientation, anxiety, a silent and dilagent depression that fills the social fabric as a consequence of a cognitive and emotional overload.

Perspective of a New Order I belongs to the Metropolis series, a project in which Kantfish examines how urban symbols of success and progress become distorting mirrors of our human condition. What once represented aspiration, today reveals emptiness; what appeared to be order, is pure fluctuation. Through the fusion of the documentary and the imaginary, the artist invites us to reconsider our relationship with reality, with the gaze and with the very meaning of being present in a world that never stops moving.
Perspective of a New Order I was exhibited at The Wrong Biennale 11-2025 / 03-2026.

The Wrong could well be the world’s largest art biennale – the digital version of the Venice Biennale.

OTHER ARTWORKS BY KANTFISH

Kantfish (Emanuele Giusto) is a visual artist and multidisciplinary author born in Italy, beneath the ancestral hues of Mount Etna. He develops his international practice between Portugal and Spain, exploring the tension between reality, its symbolic layers, and their representation through the concept that underpins his work: “More Than Real.”

Kantfish develops a modus operandi that starts from photography, applying a precise, almost surgical eye to natural, urban, and human landscapes, transforming them into abstract spaces that are revealed through the eye of the soul.

His personal and professional journey —with stages in Italy, Madrid, Mallorca, Luanda, Santiago in Cape Verde, and Miami— has shaped a perspective that operates at the intersection of documentary, fiction, and cultural analysis.

He has been recognized in international awards and biennials and is represented in galleries in Spain, Japan and the United States.

He shapes his visual perspective through photography, digital tools, cinema, writing, emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, and live interventions, crafting a hybrid language that intertwines critical thinking, journalistic research, and contemporary art practices.

For over two decades, he has published in media such as XL Semanal, El País Semanal, Rolling Stone, The Guardian, Foreign Policy, L’Espresso, and Il Messaggero.
This experience shapes his critical approach to the image and the way he unfolds visual narratives.

He has written scripts for programs broadcast on television networks such as Dmax.tv (Discovery Inc. Media), Warner Bros. Discovery, and audiovisual projects for organizations like the United Nations’ FAO —including the World Water Day campaign— where he integrates aesthetics, communication, and social research.

His film El Dulce Sabor del Éxito ( 2023), winner of the Artistic Merit Award at the Impact Docs Awards, was the first Spanish documentary to premiere in a metaverse cinema in collaboration with the Decentraland Foundation. He is also the author of Il giro d’Europa con 30€ ( Feltrinelli) and CryptoJungla, cited by Nature magazine.
